NONCON 

Glasco has been using flow-through fluoropolymer (FEP/Teflon®) tube reactor technologies since 2006. The NONCON 5000 series is a flow-through fluoropolymer-style UV water and wastewater disinfection system that’s a chemical-free, non-contact and non-conductive alternative to traditional methods.  Unlike systems that use UV lamps immersed in water, the NONCON 5000 positions UV lamps in the air. As the water flows through the transparent tubes, the UV lamps shine germicidal light (@ 254 nm), killing microorganisms. 

Vertical

Glasco UV launched our vertical program in the 1980s, and in 2003, we installed the industry’s first vertical amalgam system. Our vertical systems are biologically validated at the Johnstown UV testing center by HydroQual.  Designed to treat a wide range of flow rates, including large flows at 30″ or 60″ water levels, our vertical installations offer several benefits, including streamlined maintenance, lower operational costs, and a compact installation footprint.

Chambered

Glasco UV has installed chambered wastewater UV disinfection systems since the 1980s to treat an extensive range of flow rates. They offer a chemical-free alternative to traditional systems by integrating low pressure UV lamps with flexible sizing.  Our chambered systems are biologically validated at the Johnstown UV testing center by HydroQual, and all systems are designed to optimize performance and energy savings.

Horizontal

Glasco has installed horizontally oriented UV disinfection systems since the 1990s. These systems are installed horizontally in the channel with UV lamps immersed directly into the wastewater. Designed to accommodate varying flow rates, our horizontal systems include packaged stainless steel channels or units embedded directly into concrete. All horizontal systems are biologically validated at the Johnstown UV testing center by HydroQual.
